Change to Win Leaders Visit China
Change to Win leaders traveled to China in May 2007 because in order to share in the prosperity of the global economy, workers and their organizations must build strong links of solidarity around the world. Members of the Change to Win delegation will study the common challenges faced by workers in the world's largest economy and the world's fastest-growing economy, and enter into dialogue with their Chinese counterparts on how to improve respect for workers everywhere.
The delegation includes Anna Burger, Chair of Change to Win and International Secretary-Treasurer of SEIU; Edgar Romney, Change to Win Secretary-Treasurer and Executive Vice President at UNITE HERE; James P. Hoffa, Teamsters General President; Arturo Rodriguez, President of United Farm Workers; Andy Stern, International President of SEIU; and Greg Tarpinian, Executive Director of Change to Win.
