I am member of an SEIU affiliated Union (the Michigan Corrections Organization). I am puzzled by the "Official Statement" that CtW has released relating to this matter. The allegation is not that CtW ever discussed with Governor Blagojevich his promotion to the head of CtW; it is that his promotion was discussed with "Pesident-Elect" Obama as an exchange for appointing his preferred candidate to succeed him as Senator. I find it interesting that your statement makes no reference to discussing this matter with the "President-Elect". I suspect that this post will not last long on this site. I have found in the past that any of us who fail to tow the "party line" in political matters will be silenced. It'll be interesting to see. Thank You.

When i registered to vote in 5 states with acorn, i didn't know obama was going to offer blago the chance to take over and loot our monies. i thought obama believed in change that i believe in so that i could believe in his change that was believable.
i guess its good that the state's attorney stopped the investigation before he caught Barrack too!
Thanks mr. fitzpatrick for keeping our illusion of change alive.
