This is cool — as the Republicans convene on September 1 in Minneapolis/St. Paul to open their convention, SEIU is going to be holding a “Take Back Labor Day” music festival practically right next door. Featured performers are:
Tickets are free for SEIU members, $10 for everyone else. If you’re going to be up there and are looking for a dose of sanity to balance out four days of GOP propaganda, this sounds like the place to be!

I got my tickets! This is going to be an amazing show. I also got tickets to rage against the machine on the 3rd!! I'm just really really not looking forward to the transportation and parking nightmare the RNC will bring with it.
