Straight Talk on John McCain

WorseThanBush.org

I want to let you know about a new campaign we launched today: Worse Than Bush.

If you’re a reader of this blog, it won’t be news to you that a President John McCain wouldn’t be good news for working people. The McCain agenda — more tax cuts for the rich, privatization of Social Security, and war without end — would mean the next four years would be just as disastrous for the American Dream as the last eight have been.

But McCain — and the deep-pocketed interests that support him — don’t want people to know that. So they’re doing everything they can to keep people from learning the truth about the McCain record.

Someone has to get the word out to the American people about the real John McCain. And that’s just what the Worse Than Bush campaign is setting out to do. This morning, nine workers — the McCain Truth Squad — set out on a bus tour that will take them across America, spreading the word about John McCain’s anti-worker record.

And as they meet people, they’re collecting hard questions that workers have for John McCain — questions you won’t hear him answer as he campaigns. For example, here’s Kevin Geary of Detroit asking a hard question on health care for Senator McCain:

As the Truth Squad makes its way across the country, you can follow them — and submit your own hard questions for John McCain — at WorseThanBush.org.
