Today’s face of employee free choice is Manuel Zuniga, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA, seen here with his beautiful family:
I asked Manuel why he supports the Employee Free Choice Act, and here is his response:
With the current economic environment, it is clear that employers find themselves attempting to increase profit margins due to increased costs of operation. All too often, this results in employers attempting to cut corners in regards to labor costs, thereby harming the average American worker’s ability to make a livable wage with even minimal benefits. I and my family support the Employee Free Choice Act because without legislative oversight to ensure compliance with federal labor law, the American worker and ultimately, American society is harmed. The ability to collectively organize can be a way for workers to serve as a counterbalance to the “WalMartization” of the American workplace.
Take action today — join Manuel in supporting the One Million Strong for the Employee Free Choice Act campaign!
