We've written before in this space about the most recent assault on workers' rights by George W. Bush's National Labor Relations Board:
[T]he recent NLRB decisions say that the corporate Bush backers are not satisfied. They want the law completely eviscerated before Bush leaves office to make it even more difficult for a new President and Congress to address the problems of the denial of worker rights in America.
If you're in the DC area tomorrow, you can join us in telling the NLRB that enough is enough: that it's time they got back to what was supposed to be their core mission, protecting America's workers.
At 11:30 AM tomorrow, working people from across the labor movement will be marching from AFL-CIO headquarters to NLRB headquarters to protest this latest round of egregious anti-worker behavior -- and we'd love to have you marching with us! Here's the info:
- Where To Meet: AFL-CIO Headquarters, 815 16th St. N.W., Washington, D.C.
- Marching To: NLRB Headquarters, 1099 14th St. N.W., Washington, D.C.
- When: Meet at 11:30 AM, Thursday, November 15, 2007
If you want to tell your friends and co-workers, here's a downloadable event flier in PDF format you can print out and make copies of.
Let's send this message loud and clear. See you there!
