"It was like a drug raid"

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials say everything was "done by the book" when federal agents stormed the home of a Moroccan family in Wallingford, CT at 5:30 a.m on Monday.

Apparently the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) handbook calls for cursing and hog-tying a law-abiding, unarmed man in front of his wife and young children.

I said, 'Please, who are you? I don't know who you are.' They never announced their name to us, never told us who they are," Souhair Zaim-Sassi said. "They horrified me and my children. They came in there and just started going up to the children's bedrooms and flashing lights. It was like a drug raid. I didn't understand, I thought they were going to hurt us.

The Moroccan immigrant is documented, has no criminal record, and has never missed an appointment with immigration officials.
