Tragedy in Tulsa

Tragic news today from Cintas: Eleazar Torres-Gomez, a Cintas worker at an industrial laundry facility in Tulsa, died at work today when he was dragged into an industrial dryer.

Since 2003, Cintas has been cited more than 170 times for unsafe working conditions by OSHA. The Uniform Justice campaign, a joint project of CtW unions UNITE HERE and the Teamsters, is fighting for safer working conditions at Cintas.

The thoughts and prayers of all of us in the Change to Win family go out to Mr. Torres-Gomez's family tonight.
