Two Things You Can Do Today to Help Pass the Employee Free Choice Act

In my last post, I said I would follow up with suggestions on how you can take action to help more workers have a voice in their workplace. Here they are:

  1. CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE: All week, join with workers in Change to Win unions who are calling their Representatives and urging them to support the Employee Free Choice Act. EFCA would help workers choose a fair and democratic way to unite on the job, free of management intimidation and harassment. Just dial 1-866-699-9243 (it's a free call) and ask to be put through to your Representative, and once you're connected, tell them to vote YES on the Employee Free Choice Act (H.R. 800).  If you don't know who your Representative is, use our handy online form to find out before you call.
  2. E-MAIL YOUR REPRESENTATIVE:  Prefer to e-mail your representative? You can contact him or her through our online campaign page:

    http://changetowinaction.org/campaign/efca_cosponsor

Just fill out the form on that page and click 'Send' to fire off an email to your Representative telling them to support the Employee Free Choice Act.

So there you go, two easy ways you can stand up for working people!
