Executive Director, Change to Win

Greg Tarpinian is the Executive Director of Change to Win, a federation of seven international unions representing six million members founded September 27, 2005 in St. Louis.  Change to Win affiliates include: the Service Employees International Union, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the United Food and Commercial Workers, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, UNITEHERE!, the Laborer's International Union, and the United Farm Workers.  The goal of Change to Win is to coordinate and combine the resources of its affiliates to develop and implement strategies to organize millions of workers and build the power necessary to ensure workers a paycheck that supports a family, affordable health care, a secure retirement, and dignity on the job.

Mr. Tarpinian has been active in the labor movement as an advisor to union leaders across the country for twenty-five years as President of the Labor Research Association and President of LRA Consulting.

Mr. Tarpinian is one of the nation's leading experts on labor, politics and the economy. He has been a frequent expert source for the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and other national publications, as well as for national news and business programs on networks including CNN, NBC, CBS, Fox and CNBC. He has authored numerous articles in the business press, major newspapers and professional journals, as well as dozens of studies and reports on economics and labor relations.  Mr. Tarpinian is a frequent speaker at labor conventions and conferences, and colleges and universities.
