Research Analyst: Green Jobs Campaign

Change to Win seeks a Research Analyst to work on a joint initiative with the Laborers International Union of North America (LiUNA!) to build a high-road residential energy efficiency industry that creates family-supporting jobs and career opportunities for residents of low-income communities.

Change to Win is currently recruiting experienced field operatives, research analysts, and communications and business development professionals to support groundbreaking campaigns to organize workers in emerging green industries and help realize President Obama’s vision of a clean energy economy that works for everyone. 

The Research Analyst will work closely with Change to Win and LiUNA! staff and allies (including Sierra Club, Partnership for Working Families, Green for All,  Center for American Progress, Blue-Green Alliance, and Apollo Alliance) to provide direct support to organizing, policy, and business development activities at the local and national levels. 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Conduct research on relevant policy, programs, companies, and decision-makers
  • Provide concise written and oral summaries of research as requested
  • Track, organize and share information among campaign staff, LiUNA! leadership, and key allies
  • Work with campaign leadership to develop and execute strategies and tactics
  • Represent CtW and the campaign as required in meetings and public speaking engagements
  • Travel will be required

Job Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of relevant research experience, including social justice or other campaign experience
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytic skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate complex analysis and conclusions to a broad audience including affiliate union leaders and allies
  • Team player able and willing to build strong professional relationships with diverse campaign stakeholders
  • Strong commitment to social justice
