Garden State Alliance for a New Economy: Researcher/Advocate

The Garden State Alliance for a New Economy (GANE) is a coalition formed to unite the strength of labor unions and community-based organizations, creating a powerful voice for economic justice in northern New Jersey, particularly in the area of economic development. PWF has been a leader in successful campaigns to win living wage ordinances and community benefits agreements that have increased corporate accountability to the concerns of workers and communities: raising wages and promoting local hiring, improving environmental standards, creating green space and housing for working families, and protecting immigrant and worker rights.
