MBA Corporate Research Intern, Summer 2008

The Change to Win Labor Federation has openings for a Corporate Research Intern for the summer of 2008. The Corporate Research Intern will support campaigns that challenge America’s largest corporations to take responsibility for how their business practices impact working families and their communities. Researchers at Change to Win conduct in depth research and analysis and formulate strategies to help win corporate reform and accountability.

Change to Win is a dynamic coalition of 7 of North America’s most progressive labor unions and a leading force for social, racial and economic justice in our country today. The six million members of Change to Win unions have united to renew hope, opportunity and prosperity for American workers and their families. Change to Win, founded in September 2005, is devoted to building a movement of working people with the power to restore the American Dream—a paycheck that can support a family, affordable health care, a secure retirement and dignity on the job.

The Corporate Research Intern will be responsible for performing in-depth corporate research using a variety of public and private sources, analyzing and interpreting industry, regulatory and financial data, and working with campaign leadership to develop and execute tactics and strategies.

Ideal candidates will have a commitment to social justice and a strong academic background, with excellent writing and research skills. Graduate level coursework in finance, economics or business is required. This is a paid internship (approximately ten weeks). Women and people of color are strongly urged to apply.
